Two die in beach tragedies

A man and a woman have drowned at two
NSW beaches.
A 42-year-old man from St Ives was
found floating face down in the water at
Dee Why, on Sydney's northern beaches,
just after 3pm yesterday.
Police say two male surfers found the
man and dragged him to shore. They performed
CPR and he was taken to Mona
Vale Hospital where he later died.
Earlier, a 46-year-old woman died on
the central coast.
The woman, from Wyoming, was diving
about 100m off Terrigal Beach when she
experienced some difficulties in the water.
