Northern Territory

The Australian Lifeguard Service (Northern Territory) is the only provider of professional lifeguards in the Northern Territory.

The ALS (Northern Territory) has access to extensive resources and a national infrastructure that includes communications networks, specialist rescue services and the provision of nationally accredited training, along with international experts in medicine, equipment and coastal management.

The cost benefit offered by the ALS makes it the provider of choice. It's services operate harmoniously with the existing volunteer surf lifesaver network throughout Australia and the Northern Territory.

In Darwin SLSNT provides the Mindil Beach Lifeguard Service to the Darwin City Council and the Darwin Wave Lagoon Lifeguard Service. These services have very high rates of interaction with the public and our lifeguards pride themselves on their knowledge of tropical lifesaving and a wide range of recreation and visitor issues. Lifeguards can be hired for aquatic events, excursions, camps, media and film sets, or even parties where water is involved.
