Once you're employed

Once you're employed with the ALS you will need to ensure you have a bank account and a Tax File Number. You will also be required to contribute a percentage of your salary to a superannuation fund. For more information see below: 

Bank Account

It is a requirement of the Australian Lifeguard Service that all employees must have an Australian bank account. Prior to submitting a Lifeguard Application Form prospective applicants must establish a bank account.

You may wish to support an ALS corporate partner, Westpac - www.westpac.com.au

Superannuation

All employers within Australia are required to contribute a minimum of 9% of an individual’s salary into a superannuation fund (super fund).

Australian Tax File Number

All International Lifeguards will be required to have an Australian Tax File Number (TFN).
