Event Lifeguarding

As an extension of lifeguard services, the Australian Lifeguard Service provides lifeguard and safety support at events. These events are mainly based around the water, however, from time to time our first aid services are required at events away from the water.

Event jobs are organised through the state office's, and they may be posted on the Event Jobs Calendar on this website. Not all events will be advertised on this website.

This is the first year the ALS has been able to offer an online process for current or past employees of the ALS to express interest in event jobs. If you are not, or have never been employed by the ALS then you should contact the ALS state lifeguard manager for further information.

You can still apply for any event job via the standard system your state has been using, however we encourage you to use this online system to help streamline the process - and it's easy!
