Welcome to Event Watch!

Event Watch is the perfect platform for members to let other members know of events coming up. You might have organised the event or just know about it and want to share it with others. Either way event watch will keep members up to date with lifeguard associated events from around Australia and the world. It is an opportunity for members within the lifeguard industry to keep on top of events happening around them, giving them the chance to become more involved in the industry.

You can get events fed directly to your web browser by signing up to an RSS feed. To do this click on the orange square on the Event Watch box.

We want your events!

Event Watch will only be as dynamic as the members using it. Members need to post their own events or events they have heard of whether they are full scale conferences or local functions.

How do I post an event?

Posting an event is easy. You can click on the green 'Add Event' link to the left or from the homepage.

DELAY TO POSTING SHOWING UP ON WEBSITE: There will be a delay in your event showing up on the network website. This can be a delay of up to6 hours and is due to a scanning process that ensures no offensive or inappropriate material is added to the website.

Tips for posting an event:

What - Name of the event

When - Date and time the event starts (you can use the calendar here to chose a date)

To - Date and time the event finishes (you can use the calendar here to chose a date)

Repeats - Does the event happen regulary? If so how often and till when? (you can use the calendar here to chose a date)

Location - The location of the event - be specific here

URL - The official event website address for more information if it has one

Contact - A contact name for the event

Contact email - An email address the contact can be reached on

Message - A description of the event - what is it?

Attachment - Add a picture if you have one

Searching for an event

If you are looking for particular events then the easiest way to search for them is by using the search function at the top of this page. You can use a keyword to search for the type of event you are interested in.
